What Does Self Storeage Cost?
This depends on the unit size that you select. We have units ranging from thirty five cubic metres up to ninety cubic metres and for larger storage needs we have multiple self-warehousing options and each storage unit has a mezzanine level.
It is important to note that you will need:
- One month deposit
- Your own padlock. We have a range of padlocks and packaging available in store
- Boxes or storage containers and or bubble wrap
One of the benefits of using Store Age is that you are not contracted to a long term lease. Please remember to give us at least fourteen (14) days written notice before the end of the month of your intention to move out.
Reserving a Storeage Unit
This is advisable. To ensure you don’t lose the storage space that best suites you, you can reserve a unit by paying a deposit. Our minimum period is one (1) month and there is no limit to how long you can stay.
You can also pay in advance to ensure your unit remains at your disposal for the duration of your required period.
Our well trained staff can assist you to select the unit size that best suites you. Remember if you need regular access to your stored items then a larger space where you can pack aisles will be beneficial. If you know you will only access the unit once you move out then a smaller space can save in costs.
If you choose the wrong unit size, you can transfer to another size unit anytime and as many times as you want.
FAQ
WHAT IF I NEED TO MOVE IN IMMEDIATELY?
Not a problem at all. We always have units available and can easily facilitate your move in and you will have access to your storage space on the same day. Should we not have a suitable size, we can store your items in a temporary unit until one more suitable is available.
ARE THERE ANY CONTRACTS I HAVE TO SIGN?
You will need to sign a lease before you have access to your storage unit. Just remember to bring along your ID or passport and your deposit and first months rent.
ARE MY GOODS SAFE AND SECURE?
The units are housed in a warehouse with a high boundary wall, with CCTV cameras, alarm systems and access control.
ARE MY GOODS INSURED WHILE IN STORAGE?
Our warehouse has Public Liability insurance

We have a wide range of packaging options to make your packing and moving easier.
DO YOU HAVE TROLLEYS I CAN USE TO MOVE MY LARGE ITEMS?
There are free trolleys for you to move your larger items into storage. In addition our passages are extra wide to make sure your move is as easy as possible. For more heavy items, we also have a forklift.
